Public website analytics
Google Analytics loads only after a signed-out visitor accepts analytics on a public page. It records query-free page locations, public page titles and fixed labels for public calls to action. Middleman uses this information to understand which public pages are useful and where onboarding interest begins.
Middleman does not send Google form answers, names, email addresses, user or organization identifiers, onboarding answers, signed-in routes, documents, requirements, offers, conversations or other private workspace content.
Your choice
The choice is stored in the visitor’s browser. Selecting Decline prevents the Google Analytics script from loading. Selecting Accept allows analytics cookies for the public-site measurement described here. The “Analytics preferences” control remains available on public pages so the choice can be changed.
Advertising storage, advertising user data, ads personalisation and Google Signals remain disabled. Middleman does not attach Google identifiers to an account, membership, organization or commercial record.
Search and retention
Google Search Console supplies aggregate information about how public Middleman pages appear in Google Search. Linking Search Console and Analytics helps compare search landing pages with consented public engagement; it does not make private product records available to Google.
User-level and event-level data in the Google Analytics property is retained for up to 14 months. Aggregated reporting may be retained separately by Google under the property’s service settings.
Signed-in product measurement
Signed-in onboarding and workspace activity is measured separately in Middleman’s tenant-safe operational event stream. That first-party record supports product operation and aggregate reporting. It is not reconstructed from Google page views and is not joined to Google client or session IDs.
Scope of this notice
This is a technical description of the current website analytics boundary. Contract-specific customer data terms, provider retention and legally required privacy information remain governed by their applicable agreements and notices.
